As you can see, I like to find out about things that came first. I already learned about the Wright Brothers and the first plane, and the Mark I tank, the first of that type, and now I want to learn about the very first battleship.
After researching on Google, I found out one of the first warships was made in France. I first thought it was used by the Emperor Napoleon, but my dad told me, that was not right. It's just the name of the ship.
It was powered by steam, made of wood, and was the first ship to use a screw, or propeller.
And it was loaded with weapons, 90 guns to be exact.
It was used in the Crimean War. Russia lost the war against France and Britain and the Turks.
